KNOXVILLE, Tenn - On Friday, March 29, 2024, Rio Grande Fence Co. of Tennessee's Knoxville branch office served the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tennessee Valley - Vestal Club. The Boys & Girls Club location received the gift of a perimeter security upgrade from an old, broken, fence to a 8'H black coated chain link fence system with two gates featuring D&D Technologies B.A. weld-on hinges and Strong Arm Latches. The Club received a 100% free fence as part of Rio Grande Fence Co.'s commitment to serving the communities they serve. "We were honored to serve our Knoxville community and the great people at Boys & Girls Club on Good Friday through our gift of perimeter security and peace of mind. The newly donated fence and gates secure the playground area making it a truly safe space." said Derek Smith, Chief Operating Officer & 3rd Generation Owner. According to our contact at the facility, they had trouble with homeless people easily getting into the children's playground safe space. RGF tore out the broken, unsecure, chain link fence that was there. RGF replaced it with an 8'H black vinyl coated chain link fence system. The fabric will be 9-gauge core, 8-gauge finish, Class 2B fused and bonded. For framework, there will be top, middle, and bottom rail for ultimate reinforcement. The gates will have our BA weld-on hinges and strong arm latches so the facility can be properly secured at night.
